    Brud i Amerika:

Ask your h2b to sing this in Swedish - I am sure he knows what it is.
It is a Swedish snapsvis that also English people can sing... Somehow...

    Hell and Gore
    Melodi. Helan går

    Hell and Gore
Chung Hop father Allan, Allan ley
    Hell and Gore
    Chung Hop father Allan, ley
On handsome in the hell and tar
Hell are in the half and four
    Hell and Gore
    Chung Hop father Allan ley

    orgot the Swedish text, sorry:
    Helan går

    Helan går
    Sjung hopp faderallan lallan lej
    Helan går
    Sjung hopp faderallan lej
Och den som inte helan tar
    Han heller inte halvan får
    Helan går
    Sjung hopp faderallan lej

Helan går är en av våra mest klassiska
    och kända snapsvisor. Visans historia
är svår att följa då den sällan är omtalad
i historiska dokument. Dock vet vi att
den citerades i en operett redan 1843.

Speckledust: Probably because you don't get booze in pint glasses.

What am I doing, clicking on 'send' after every sentence...

At our wedding also everyone that wants can give a speech - we have just asked people to tell our Maid of Honour, so that we get some kind of structure into it. But I don't think that will work so in the wedding program we have written that everyone that wants to give a speech should make some kind of noise... Am not sure that will work better though...

Hi Hanban! Yes, I think so, at least so far. Slowly but surely I can feel it all coming...

No problem, since May last year we live in Grums and are getting married in Karlstad, in Mariebergsskogen (not a church wedding but in a chapel though).

Oh, oh, have to go, I shrunk my h2b's jeans in the dryer - which he just found out....

  • NuÄrDetDags (snart Mrs. 170307)

Well, admitedly it is not the first time I did this - so he had his show and then he laughed and said he never liked them anyway.

He will cut them of and wear them as shorts in summer (though they are a bit tight now, so he has to lose some winter pounds (or more stones ).

tree: It is actually not my fault! The dryer has an automatic sensor that is suposed to switch it of when the stuff is dry. Unfortunately it doesn't always do that so if I forget to check, well then it dries, and dries,...

The only thing he really didn't like was as I shrunk his Liverpool and England football shirts. Especially the England shirt... We had to run like lunatics through Preston to get that in time, before the train left to Blackpool... And then I shrunk it... But he 'forgave me', as I got him two new Liverpool shirts - I just had to promise not to put them in the dryer...

Oh, can you tell I don't want to work... talking about football shirts...

I think in the old thread there was another English couple, living in Gothenburg but I can't remember the name or maybe I am mixing things up...
