Nattsson, sounds like you had a wonderful möhippa & know we all know what the necklaces were for

Did you get lots of hugs when wearing the t-shirt? I've heard Fjäderholmen is really nice but haven't got around to going there myslef yet!

I was in the UK over the weekend to look at wedding dresses & bridesmaid dresses for my one of my best friends who is getting married June next year. I'll be a bridemaid again, yippee She chose a £1,200 Pronvias wedding dress, which she put a deposit on & has chosen this dress for me & our other best friend but in mint & gold www.thebridalshop.com/raylia_designs/7878L.htm. Bride is hoping I'll be around the same size 5 months after the baby arrives as I am now & luckily it has a corset back so that will help. We tried one on in a shop & I looked quite funny in the dress with a bump up front Now we have the hen parties to plan for her. We're having a weekend in Dublin September this year (before baby arrives) & then we'll have a fun packed day for her next year, closer to her big day

'& now we all know what the necklaces were for' was what I was supposed to write. See my English is getting bad & my Swedish no better (he, he)

Baby is doing fine I think & we have the scan next week so hopefully they'll be able to tell us if it's a boy or a girl

19 days, not long at all!! I think you'll always get problems with people dropping out at the last minute, unfortunately. We actually had 2 guests from the UK that were due to fly out the morning of the wedding & didn't make it! They had arrived late for their flight & their seats were given away as it was the weekend when SAS were on strike. They sat at the airport thinking they could arrive in time for the dinner & then the after party & in the end gave up. We were really worried when we noticed they weren't sat down at the dinner table as we hadn't heard from them, but couldn't get hold of them. Luckily we weren't charged for their meals though & they hadn't been invloved in an accident or anything. Still I think it's wrong when people accept the invitation & then decline again afterwards only 2½ weeks before the wedding. Okay if someone is sick then that's understandable but when people say they can't get the time off work then they shouldn't have accepted without checking with work in the first place in my opinion. On the positive side you'll still have a fantastic day & you'll save some money with 3 less people to cater for

Sounds like a nice menu Nattsson. How many Brits are coming & do you have an alternative choice for those that don't eat salmon & veal? I just wonder because when we decided on our menu we had real problems as the British aren't so adventurous when it comes to food!! We couldn't choose veal & we couldn't choose the deer, which was what we really would have liked, because there were so many people that would not even touch deer or veal, so we ended up having lamb & then of course we had a few people that had to have a chicken or veg alternative in the end. If most of our guests had been Swedish we could have had the deer, but there was no way we could have half with the deer & half with boring chicken. A real nuisance having to choose what the majority would eat rather than what you want to eat

    Notlong now girls!!!!

Most Brits have been bambified, you know that expression? When they think of deer they think of bambi & when they think of veal & rabbit etc they think of fluffy little cartoon characters. My mum suffers from this badly Never tasted how good deer, elk, veal, duck etc is, as she just can't bear the thought of eating a cute animal.

Ha ha At least you both have it all sorted out, you're making me feel hungry now!!

Oh I had my scan yesterday & all is well with our little one. Two arms, two legs & something between the legs too (little boy) & very very active. He was actually kicking my bladder during the scan which explained why I was needing the loo 5 times the previous night & almost every half hour during the day yesterday! Not so bad today though NOw we have to think of some boy names we liked. We had a girls name sussed out but not a boys!!

  • Speckledust

Yes & of course it has to work in English & Swedish too

Mrs H isn't it exciting to see the baby when you have the scan! Have you come up with any good boys names yet? We have two so far Daniel & Alex. What is your due date?

Tree only 3 more days now!!! And they're forecasting sunshine for Saturday, at the moment, fingers crossed. Hopefully you'll have sun & a gentle breeze so it's not too hot.

Not long for you now either Nattsson

  • Speckledust

Just over a week between our due dates then! I'm also hoping I'll be a week or two overdue so the baby's birthday is as far away from Xmas as possible Always said I never wanted a Xmas baby! We've really struggled to come up with the two names we have so far as my hubby is really fussy too!! Must be English men

Tree are you going on honeymoon straight away? I was wondering how long we will have to wait for some pictures of your big day

  • Speckledust

Know the feeling too Had to make dinner for about 20 people 2 days before wedding when hubby's lot arrived (BBQ) & then dinner for 20 of my lot night before wedding when they arrived (Baked potatoes & fillings) Was a complete nightmare as everyone wanted to come & see the house! Then I had to make sure whole house was cleaned afterwards, as we went to Rhodes day after the wedding & hubby's lot stayed at our place for 4 or 5 days after the wedding, so I couldn't leave the house in a state

Hopefully tomorrow will be less stressful for you & it will all soon be over & then you can just relax

All the best for a wonderful day!!

Good luck for this Saturday Nattsson! Hope you have a lovely day
