Vi ska gifta oss i USA tror jag. Men jag har hort att det ar mycket billigare att gifta sig i Sverige.

Fast det beror ju också lite på i vilken stat i USA ni tänkte ha er vigsel.

Om ni gifter er i sverige och du ar med i svenska kyrkan kostar vigseln ingenting. Du kommer behova en hindersprovning som du far fran skatteverket kostnadsfritt och din blivande kommer formodligen behova nagot document fran USA som intygar att han inte redan ar gift.

Men om vi gifter oss i USA nu snart, kan jag da ringa till skatteverket och fa hindersprovningen skickad pa posten? Hur lang tid tar det att fa ett sadant?

If you aren't 17 years of age, you can't get married in Oregon. Those 17 years of age will need parental consent. The consenting parent or guardian must accompany the applicant when applying for the marriage license. There is no waiver for anyone under the age of 17.

Officiants:
Judges, County Clerks or their Deputies, Justices of Peace, and ministers, pastors, priests, rabbis may perform wedding ceremonies in Oregon.

Witnesses:
Two witnesses who are at least 18 years of age are needed at the wedding ceremony.

Miscellaneous:
License is valid for 60 days.
